Our company was originally founded in 1978 by one of the largest graphic arts dealer networks in the US, Robertson Porter.  In 1988 the company was acquired by Burgess Norral to complement their Detroit location and supply the growing commercial print market on the west-side of Michigan.  Mark Vanderbur purchased the company in 1998 and changed both the company’s name and outlook.  Advantage Litho Supply quickly grew in annual sales through customer service and printing expertise.

As one of the few remaining independent distributors in the printing industry, we offer a unique combination of world-class products with industry leading in-house service and support.  Our team of experts include prepress, pressroom and wide format specialists as well as certified G7 color management technicians.  With these highly qualified resources, we can solve problems and improve your printing process faster and more efficiently than the competition. 

 As a complete solutions provider, Advantage Litho can supply products to your prepress, pressroom, packaging and wide format departments.  Our premium product portfolio includes Kodak, Epson, INX and EFI.  To better serve our growing customer base, Advantage Litho Supply invested in a state-of-the-art ink lab in 2018.  With this equipment and our expert staff, we provide high-end spot color ink that never leaves our building over 1-delta.  When color is crucial our highly trained technicians can support your team’s color initiatives including G7 color implementations and training.

 We feel that in order to stay viable it is imperative to be a forward-thinking company.  In 2013 Advantage Litho Supply formed a new division called Advantage 3D Solutions.  Since then Advantage 3D has become a premier supplier to many of the largest manufacturers in the Midwest. The team at Advantage 3D Solutions specializes in 3D printing equipment, 3D materials, technical support and on demand parts services for the growing 3D printing market.

With a growing trend of shortened lead times, providing a smooth, uninterrupted order process is extremely important to us. Our friendly inside staff takes pride in making the ordering process easy, and our 12,000 square foot warehouse allows us to stock your facility’s high-use items for fast, hassle-free delivery.  While we continue to invest in our website, we prefer to do business in-person with a handshake and are always just a phone call away to support your team.
